Great version, but that's not in France but rather London I think. It was part of this documentary from early 1986: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGL8SZxX6QM

Can't name you the name of the location where the live footage was shot, but it's in Clerk's Pogues' biography and I believe in Fearnley's book as well. Have forgotten the name of the venue and no access to the books at this very moment.

1986.01.16 - The Mean Fiddler, Harlesden, London I think?

Glad everyone is having such a good time as I was already thrown out and recovering from a titty-twister the giant, shall we say... overachieving bouncer gave me before dumping me on the sidewalk. He was a keeper and a true pervert of the highest order.

Hi Mats :D

Great little clip. What were the name of the three lads who played brass on a few of the tours? It was one of those that posted the clip. I watched the clip and then went back to the thread for this tour and read the whole 34 pages. Giddy posts from all our old pals on The Raft who have long gone overboard and also a very sad one from Mr. Chevron........ "The tour is now complete".... his very last post :(

Good stuff!

I enjoyed several gigs at Brixton and it's weird seeing the venue so empty. Am I right in thinking it's Ella Finer who's singing?

James McNally is the guitarist IIRC who stood in for Phil.

Hi John, It's Camille O'Sullivan singing. Seeing Brixton Academy empty is weird. If the gig was scheduled this year it would look the same due to the auld Covids

The things that have happened since Philip passed. Bowie dying, Prince overdosing. 49.9% of America putting their heads squarely up their asses and rising up as ignorant, idiotic, blatant racists and a blight on the world. All the mass shootings at concerts (as well as the usual targets), UK politics, etc., etc. We can only imagine what he’d have to say about all of it. 8)

It makes no sense who stays and who goes.

Hi Colm

I found their names in another thread: "and the Brass Section, who can now be named: Daniel Gale Hayes, Pete Fraser and Ian Williamson"

Here's a rough and ready crowd cam from Harlow Town Park 21st July 1991

https://youtu.be/hZXbsNtVGn8

Surprisingly, for a gig just before his departure, Shane is in good vocal form and spot on cue 8)
