Last night The Lovely Mrs. DzM and I were watching the Christmas episode of The F Word (Gordon goes to Lapland to eat a reindeer, etc).

As the final results of the British Food Cook-off are being announced The Lovely Mr.s DzM says "you hear that?" "What," I ask. "That! You don't hear it?" ... "Hey! That's the instrumental version of Furrytail of Your Fork!"

Another unexpected appearance ... .

That is fucking brilliant. Florence is a beautiful singer and Billy has the knack of making the lyrics sound as though they were his, not just another cover version.

Thanks for the link Jon.

I couldn't agree more. I've been a fan of Billy almost as long as The Pogues, and that's probably the only cover of "Fairytale" that I've actually enjoyed.

Much appreciation for sharing!

My thanks as well. :D

Not quite the quality of Billy's cover, but well worth it for the entertainment factor!

Wish he'd taken that bloody cap off.... Hats indoors is so wrong, unless 'indoors' happens to be inside an igloo!
I wish I'd done biology for an urge within me wanted to do it then

That's true. Hmm, do you think Mr Bragg might just be going a little, erm, thin on top? That could explain it.

And I hope he doesn't wear the hat while driving. That is just wrong, no matter how much of a slaphead one might be.

I thought young Bill was just growing into his post-modern Woody Guthrie look.

You now join the club along with the lovely "John C" who has a picture of himself, head cocked over to a jaunty angle. I've often wondered is it really him or just a piss take? Have any other Medusans got pictures of themselves as their avatar?
