Good point Irishbookish, that the "please people can't we all get along?" line is hurtful to people who have been personally attacked without being given a chance to respond. And I know some people have thicker skins than others. I've never much read anything that bothered me about what TOSCS has written, BUT I've always been peripherally involved. TOSCS it seems to me gives as good as he gets: he's abrasive but never offended. I think it has to do with his youth, a younger person's perspective on the nature of internet forums, and his particular character.
Irishbookish validly states that some people do have thinner skins and I think this is true. And I have to say I'd like to see them accommodated too. I don't always agree with anyone here, including bookish and Jennylois, but I've very much enjoyed both members' participation and I'd be very much disappointed if they, um, "bogged off". I do hope you guys hang in there!
Confession time: when I was newly joined I objected to an image posted by MacRua in the Drugs thread, I responded a wee bit in the thread, but also in a long-winded way in a PM to DzM. I should have trusted Medusa more, and stated my opinions out in the open, expecting the wisdom of the Fora to prevail and not getting too bent out of shape about whatever. My apologies to MacRua. Truly, buddy.
I haven't listed anyone in all of Medusa as a foe. And I've got no plans to do so either. Again, not that I agree with everyone, but because I'm curious to see what everyone has to say, no matter what. You never know when you can find some common ground with someone you've been clashing with on another forum.
As for DzM's vagina or lack of, well, I saw "him" taking pictures of the performance in October in San Francisco and my husband and I talked with "him" a bit about random stuff. I must admit, however, DzM had clothes on. So I can't really tell you one way or another about the vagina question, altho' at the time I had the definite impression "he" was guyly.
