Re: New Logo

Having worked out that some eejit has not in fact been drawing on the bottom-right corner of my monitor in red pen (or possibly lipstick), I'm now really liking the new logo.

I'm just seeing a blood red x, and an outline. I hope that isn't the updated logo.
But that is just one of my myriad of problems today.

Interesting. Can you email me a screen shot and some information about what browser you're using (version, vendor, OS)?

Edit:

Alrighty, the problem is that the new logo is rendered in a format called Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG), and it seems that some of you are still using old browsers that don't understand it. Please, help make the Web a better place for everyone. Please please please. Don't use old browsers.

Firefox 3.x? Old. Insecure. Numerous security flaws. Poor SVG support. Please upgrade. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx ... getfirefox
Internet Explorer 8.0 or earlier? Old. Slow. Insecure. Numerous security flaws. No SVG support. Please upgrade.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/inte ... wnloads/ie
Google Chrome? Apply your updates. Google is always tweaking this beastie. https://www.google.com/chrome
Opera? Really? Wow. But still! Apply your updates!
Safari? Apply your damn updates! http://www.apple.com/safari/

Really gang. I can't stress this enough. By not upgrading your browsers you are exposing yourselves to security flaws AND you're making the Web a crappier experience for everybody. Rather than take advantage of cool technology in current versions of browsers web developers and designers have to restrict themselves to what was cool five or ten years ago. By not upgrading your browser you (yes, you) are extending that long tail of lowest common denominator technology.

C'mon. You know you want to. Upgrade today.

What are Firefox3.x and Internet Explorer insecure about? Is it reptile dysfunction?

My excuse is that I primarily get on at work, and they haven't made the upgrade yet.

It will probably work eventually. You phone's cache hasn't loaded the new style sheets yet.
