You could pay him with gratitude, but I hear the USD/THX exchange rate is pretty low at the moment.

Still, I'm sure you have a legitimate reason (Open Source ftw?).

License fee? Money? Band.........?

Quick lads, it's our money they're after.

MAN THE BARRICADES!!

No, that would be alittle to much to ask for, wouldn´t it  :D

DzM, great news about the fora, Thanks for the effort you all put down here. RESPECT

DzM -- I'm getting this when I try to get to this site, this morning:

"phpBB : Critical Error

Error creating new session"

...then after a minute or so, and about ten tries, I get in. I'm using Mozilla.

Thanks!

EV

Same here, although I haven't a clue whether I'm using Mozilla or not.
And, like Johan, I couldn't get in here yesterday, which may or may not be unrelated.

Thanks, DzM.

I too have no idea whether I'm using Mozzarella or Godzilla or whatever. Such things are beyond me. But I've had the same issues as Christine, Eric and Johan.

Yesterday morning (Pacific time) there was a general outage that lasted for several hours. I guestimate that it lasted from around 5:00am PST through 10:00am PST. Sorry about that. I've changed some things to hopefully keep that from happening again.

This morning part of the database that stores all this store became corrupt. I won't bore you with details other than to say I suspect it's related to yesterday's outage. It should now be working again.

Sorry about that.

Thanks, DzM, for that and, once again, for all your work to keep the raft afloat. You're a star.

Site problems?

Post Mon Oct 15, 2007 9:44 am

I haven't been able to get on here for a few days now, always getting an error message about the site being off for janitorial duties or similar. Suddenly it's back and I see all of you have been happily posting all along. I am not aware that I did anything different than before.

Did anyone else have that problem?

Hmm. Well, the site's not been off for janitorial duties, so something odd must be going on.

If anyone sees this again, please make note of the exact error message you see and somehow communicate it to me (email, PM, post here, whatever works for you).

Thanks
DzM

I haven't had any trouble getting on, DzM. But today when I post I'm getting a message that says: "Could not connect to smtp host : 111 : Connection refused"

But in fact the posts have been made anyway, so I'm just ignoring it.
