The forums have grown to the point that it is difficult for me to moderate them all alone. I'm asking for you help. I need some people to start moderating the busier forums (most notably Misc and Live Shows) with an eye toward my Notes on Acceptable Forum Behavior.
So what I'm looking for:
Nominations
I want the moderators to be people that are respected by the overall community of users. As such, I want that community to nominate people from its own ranks to be benevolent overlords.
Experience
I want people that have been here for a while. While I'm sure that new members will do a fine job, members that have been here for a while have a feel for how things should go.
A punching bag
The people that do this need to accept up front that whatever decisions they make will usually not make everyone (or perhaps even anyone) happy, and not let this bother them. I want moderators to be able to make hard decisions. I'll even try to mostly not second-guess them.

Once I have a few nominations/volunteers I'll append them and their CVs to this thread. I'll then let the community as a whole help with the selection.
I will remain the administrator of the forums, and will retain the right to capriciously over-rule decisions, appoint new moderators, eliminate old ones, etc.
