It's not my fault I have loyal friends and devoted fans, yeah?
And sometimes I tend to regard them as my virtual family as I spend much more time with them on-line than with my real relatives in so called reality. Voting for me was THEIR initiative! I'd like to believe they did it in all sincerity...
BTW i'd like to underline: cupla voters you meant not just chat friends or something they are members of russian-language discussion group (so called club) Hot Dogs With Everything (the only russian-language pogues/popes/shane related community). All of them are long-term pogues-fans (I swear !), their only "flaw" is they are not fluent english speakers/readers/writers. That's why they didn't register here before...

I'm delighted that these Russian fans are registering at the site. I encourage them to use the forums. Use Russian if that's the only language available. Use broken English when possible so that the rest of us can play too.

I agree completely. As I said at the beginning of this thread, my sincerist thanks goes to each of the candidates. I thank those that accepted their nominations, and I thank those that selflessly volunteered. I appreciate all of you being willing to do your best for the body politic.

Ballots are cast, polls are closed, and new overlords are appointed.

With a total of thirty-three votes cast (a little over 15% of the possible electorate choosing to cast ballots), our front three candidates are:

Kufen 27% [ 9 ]
Zuzana 21% [ 7 ]
MacRua 33% [ 11 ]

All - I'd just like to extend a big Thanks to our three Puppet Masters. I think they've done a really fine job of helping manage the fora since December.

They help me to fix broken posts (you'd be surprised how many of these there are), remove duplicate posts (again, you'd be surprised), to offer technical assistance to confused users, to make sure threads are in the right fora, etc.

Great job all of you. I owe you a great deal of thanks for helping to keep things running. w00t for you!
