Fixing. (should be all done fixing in about 45 minutes if everything goes well).

Gir is having growing pains. But really - It'll be So Much Better once this crap is all done. Yay!

Another small word of "Hey!"

I'd like to welcome ServerMan, the kind benefactor who has silently helped us over the years. ServerMan has borne the bulk of the cost for the last two incarnations of our server (the current one, Gir, and it's predecessor, Zim). And now Gir is living in ServerMan's front room.

This was mentioned elsewhere too.

A component of the database that stores all of these golden words puked its brains out yesterday morning (Pacific time). This mean that every single post got an odd message after it about "Couldn't insert word into database" (or some such), and this naturally made people think "I don't think my post went through! I shall post again."

Anyway - that's been fixed now. Sorry about that.
