The second last time I met Shane, he'd just been to the record store and had a bag full of CDs of which this was one. He had fun with me trying to guess which one was Terry from the photographs (bears no resemblance to his current appearance)...

Anyway, I got this CD myself earlier this year - CD1 is fantastic, CD2 is good too but I prefer the first one. There is some stuff tacked on to both CDs which, in my humble opinion, don't belong there but it's well worth a listen.

I suspect that this is where Shane may have gotten the idea for the Pogues' arrangement of the Waxie's Dargle. Some other great stuff on there too...

This is a crap review - I like the anthology and I think most of the people on here would too but I guess you'll know more when you have the CD in your very own paws.
