Is that true? I really love that film (except for the poor Irish accent of Julia Roberts)

It is true, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0940806/

I dug out the movie, I took a picture on my lap-top, of the scene that I think he was in, the web-page said he was in the pub scene at the end, I can't post the pic but i could send it to you if you like. he's kinda in the back ground.

btw The guy who played Collins killer plays Elvis, bet you didn't know that.

And another fact about the movie, Brenden Gleeson stared in two Michael Collins movies, this one playing Liam Tobin, and one made one T.V called The Treaty actually playing Micahel Collins.

so there you go another completely pointless post from Simon.

yes, he is in the pub scene, and he has a line. i forget what it is, but it's some snotty, sarcastic comment about collins selling out by agreeing to the compromise with britain.

8) Thanks fer the heads-up, Simon :) I'll try and spot him in my copy of the Neeson version.

And a big-up to Hymnself for the line reference. I remember some snotty little Dev supporter in that scene. Hey, this is fun..... While I'm talking movies... which way to the thread where I can find out about the movie the Pogues and Joe Strummer were in? I keep forgetting the title (Straight To Hell?), and would like to attempt to acquire a LEGAL copy of said film on DVD, if possible. Any suggestions?

Thank *achOO!* you, squire. I was just checking on the title again, in my demented forgetful chemically-augmented hippy dotage......

Ironic if true. Mr Woods flies the flag for Collins. Naughty Neil Jordan.
