West Coast 2009

It's starting to look like we may do a quick slide down the West Coast of America between October 10 to November 1 this year. No dates confirmed yet but, as ever, watch this space. We're hoping to visit some places we haven't been to, or haven't been to in years, so keep alert for news of Portland, Seattle, New Orleans, Phoenix, Denver and Austin as well as the usual pit stops.

In the meantime, ax me no questions and I'll tell ya no lies. 8)

Any chance at a quick hop over to NYC on the way back to the UK?

And Hawaii has several West coasts! And East coasts! North and South ones too! And a wide range of in-between coasts!

Holy Crap Batman. Now this will be a tough decision.

Denver, my old stompin' grounds.
Portland & Seattle, close enough to do both shows and visit good friends.
Austin, where we have a chance to see McMurtry, Jon Dee Graham and more importantly Territa no doubt.
Phoenix where we have free use of a condo...

Hopefully will have some money by then... (note to self: cut out wife's beer money and kids food and clothes from current budget)

I'll be damned. I actually had to look at these posting dates, thinking I must have stumbled to an old thread. Hello Neil :)
Nice to see you drop in.

Great news, and glad to see the Pogues-deficient places getting a show.

First time in Phoenix??

What the hell does Bill Bryson know about anything? Butte is, in fact, home to the largest defunct open pit copper mine which is, I'll grant, large and gaping and filling up with toxic sludge and heavy metals. But shit? Certainly no shit in uptown Butte.
