Hi Phil, hope ypu do get a chance to comment on possability of the Barras. If the band is tied in to the Academy's fair enough but really would love to see you all back home in the Gallowgate. What a 40th that would be for me this Christmas!!!
Also just loke to say Phil great to see you singin at Madstock the other week. All the best!!

Yes, I'll almost certainly attend Horslips at Belfast Odyssey Arena and catch the Pantos at the Dublin Gaiety Theatre and the Belfast Opera House. In addition, there's a Mark Rowe play I want to see at the Abbey and in all likelihood, I'll pay a return visit to Conor McPherson's The Seafarer, also at the Abbey. Besides all this, the Pogues will be playing in Dublin and Belfast, but I'm not at liberty.....blah blah....

If the Kings Hall is out of the question I'd reccomend St Georges market or even better 2 dates a the Ulster Hall!

Yes, St George's Market is the one we're looking at ourselves. That said, I'm certain the Horslips need only walk onto the stage to dismiss any lingering doubts about the atmosphere at the Odyssey. Belfast was, after all, the lads' last gig in 1980. Let's just hope Charles O'Connor doesn't go looking for the fiddle he chucked into the audience at the end of that show!
