This is the article i was talking about BTW; Its from May last year so fingers crossed the plans have been shelved.

Seems you are bang on with this one, its due to open in September, i have tickets to see the Twang there.
It would appear the old venue will not shut simultaneously so the Pogues could perhaps have the choice of either, sounds like it will be a great venue but its the end of an era for the dale end site going right back to the days when it was the Hummingbird and UB40 owned it.
One more Pogues gig in the old venue would be awesome, what a great send off that would be ?
Any news on this MR C ?

X-mas shopping on the other side of the pond :D

after 5 shows in Brixton it´s prob. time to see the Pogues in Glasgow and Dublin again.

Philip is there any chanse that Glasgow will be right after Dublin? (so i don´t have to go home to Sweden between the shows)

When do you think the X-mas shows will be confirmed (officialy)?

Cheers
Johan

Glasgow is likely to be between 3 and 7 days after Dublin.

Looking forward to Glasgow again!!! Any chance of the Barras this year?!!!!

Any more clues yet to end of year dates - the trail seems to have gone cold !!!!

Would my guessing for London be right with dates around the 17/18/19 december ?

Would imagine it'll be 2 initially announced with a 3rd night available to be taken up if the demand is there.

Don't think there's been much talk of possible supports for the Xmas tour yet so I'll throw in an early contender - The King Blues. Anarcho doo-wop ska ukelele punk rock with many a chorus as big as The Supremes. Really, that good.

Philip mentioned in another thread that they will play in Belfast on 2 December and in Dublin 4-6 December. Not official and confirmed yet but we can always hope. Don´t think the Christmas tour has started this early before. Does this mean it´s going to be a longer tour or end earlier? I understand James want to get home to the US before Christmas.

Not sure about London this year. I´ve never been to Ireland and I´d love to go there but I can´t afford both. Me and my family will meet Johan and Per with families in about three weeks so I guess we will decide after that, we´ll see.
