You can only book train tickets three months in advance and - as I just realised when I cancelled a New York hotel booking and then got the same room for a third of the price on Expedia, hotels are not always cheapest when booked so far in advance, when they are still assuming full occupancy.

Don't know what your travel arrangements are but it is a nightmare to park around the Stadium, permit system in place on all the streets. (There is a huge tescos next to it which you can take a gamble on, it is free parking if you spend over £25 in any or all of the shops)however i have never seen anyone check as you leave the carpark so it is a gamble...
If you come by train a taxi will cost approx £10 (this is pure speculation because i have never gone by taxi) but once at the stadium there are few places to drink. The Casino is ok but pricey and thats if you can get in, the bars within the venue will be usual shit beer costing £3.50 or so a pint. There is a social club opposite "rowley green club" and i have heard that there is to be a Ska disco at a club called the "Cherrytree" about a 15min walk away.
I have no idea where i will be but if i see you i will say hello

Brilliant gig- still a top band, almost as enjoyable as a Pogues gig- but not quite

So there will definitely be a Christmas tour this year as well? Excellent!

When are the shows announced, and the tickets up for sale? August\September? Maybe even as early as July?

While I think the King's hall is a souless pit unless the Pogues are playing of course, I hope to God its not getting moved to the Odyssey, Maybe 2 or 3 dates in the Ulster Hall instead?
