Will it only be festival gigs, or will there also be "regular" concerts? (in Denmark, come on, come on, come on, come on :D Sorry :) )

I really hope you're NOT playing in sweden, on sonispherefestival! It's not that your'e a cool band, but you don't really fit in the line up if you compare to the other bands who are playing in hultsfred that day. I wanna have more death/thrashmetal, not folkmusic. Cheers!

Yes, I'm going to go. I'll probably do it by train rather than drive. You up for it?

This Madstock date sounds good! Anyone know who else is supporting and I assume Pogues are main support to the bed and breakfast men?

As far as having a few beers and a cheeky jig on a friday afternoon in London town goes, you could not ask for a better soundtrack..the Pogues and Madness;just brilliant. I have officially stopped my healthy eating plan as of hearing this news as i gaurantee i will be losing at least a stone in weight with the amount of ridiculous dancing i shall be throwing down that day. Thankyou whoever had the foresight to throw these two together.

Mr Chevron, have the 2 bands shared a bill before? If so,when, where etc..?

And to make my day even better,Ireland have just gone one up in the first minute at Croke park.

I shall be checking my lottery numbers with interest this evening.

Though I had forgotten this, I believe you may be right. Spider would need to confirm or deny. Madness were, like ourselves, familiar characters in the Camden Town area, apart from sharing a record label Stiff (also in Camden by then). There's a scene in their autobiographical movie where they are seen stealing an album from Rock On, the record shop beside the tube station where I worked fro 1981 to 1985 (the scene in the movie was filmed just before I started work there). This was fanciful at best, unless they just wanted the sleeve - we number-coded the empty sleeves and stored the records behind the counter.

At Glastonbury, in 1986, for example...

Wasn't it The Millwall Chainsaws?

By Oct 1982 The North London Invaders had been known as Madness for three years...
