Having dithered about whether to go to Splendour, I picked up some parental brownie points today when the wee girl looked up from her NME and pointed out that one of her current faves (Kid British?) were on the same bill as the Pogues. Five minutes later, tickets were ordered from gigantic and I am number one dad. I have no shame. :P

Interesting choice of pic in the poster for the Liverpool gig: http://www.pogues.com/

By the look of Shane in that photo, he's had more reconstructive work done than just his teeth...

Just booked Splendour Festival tickets, had not planned on going but ya know it's the fecking Pogues and I don't have to journey all the way to Manchester! Anyone else going? Any idea how long the set will be, I am guessing around an hour?

Just booked tickets for Splendour in Notts 8)

Taking the missus though for her first Pogues experience, not sure she knows what she's let herself in for... :?
