Dear Mr. Chevron,

Needless to say I am so excited about the tonight show. Four years in row in now in Boston, amazing! Im so grateful to have seen my favorite band now so many times. Im especially looking forward to this years show as I will be going with my girlfriend who is celebrating her b-day this weekend. Im proud to say that I have turned her into Pogues fan after being together for about 8 months now and Im really excited to see her response to the show tonight! Im sure you get millions of request by fans all the time but I figured I would give it shot; If by any chance during the show tonight you could wish my girlfriend, Nancy, a happy b-day, I would be eternally grateful!! I can only imagine the HUGE smiles in would bring to both of our faces.
Either way Im looking forward to another great Pogues experience tonight and thank you so much for making Boston a regular stop on your USA spring tours.

Chris

This has always puzzled me. Were they afraid that you would make milliions distributing DVDs from a five minute cell phone video?

Saw the show Friday night, it was most excellent! Was so happy to see such a legendary band together, and better than ever, despite Shane's addiction to the bottle! I want more!

I suppose it's the principle of the thing. What if there had been cell phones at Deeley Plaza in 1963 and you were the Zaprooder who captured the fatal shot, and its trajectory.

It is time for a proper international conference on copyright law, with all interested parties (including consumers) heard from.

Thanks, Pogues, for another great tour, and night after night of pure joy. All the best to you all for the coming year, and we are praying that you can make it again next year!

Mr. Chevron,

Wow! Thank you so much for the happy-b day wish for Nancy!! That was so kind of you and really made the show such a special event for the two of us. Not sure if you saw us, but we were both jumping up and down with joy. Thank you again, safe journey home and hope to see you and the boys again soon.

When I asked for Nancy's whereabouts, about 50 hands, accompanied by yelps, went up, so forgive me if I did not spot you.

Now it can be told. Pogues fans - bunch of Nancies!

EPIC SHOW

Left Newfoundland at 4:30am Friday, missed a connecting flight, arrived at Logan at 6:40pm...just made the concert.

BEST SHOW EVER. Worth every penny!

Wow! Glad you made it. I've noticed Logan is one of the world's more user-friendly airports, in that it's less than thirty minutes drive to civilization.

First time ever seeing the Pogues but it won't be the last, it was an excellent time! And a nice crowd, too, everybody in a great mood. One question. It did seem really, really packed. All the HOB's seem to have a reputation for overcrowding. Does anyone know how many people were actually there on Saturday?

Officially 2500. But they managed to oversell it and tried to redistribute Saturday tickets to the more comfortably sold Friday night by offering freebies for Friday if you had a Saturday ticket. I never much pursued the outcome of this effort as it did not affect our fee anyway, though certainly, if it had appeared overcrowded - it didn't - we would certainly have investigated that.

Nice venue, mind.

Was at the show Friday night and have seen the Pogues 4 times in the past several years. I've always wondered what the song is that they come out to. It plays right before and as the pogues are coming on stage.
