U2 will play the much smaller Somerville Theatre next week which only holds 900. :P

My info says 2500 at HOB, but I'm confident U2 will squeeze in 1000+ at the Somerville. That's if they ever finish playing the David Letterman Show, which is starting to look remote.

Somerville theatre is about a mile from my home and really tiny... Not sure how they will handle U2 there. I hadn't even heard they were coming, not that I would go... I have seen Clannad and Joe Jackson there. Real cool pace for a show

I am assuming the show that Mike was referring to is the "super secret" show that you have to win tix to through local radio stations... No tix on sale... It is meant to be a very intimate show and the only show they're doing right now, sort of sounds like a fan appreciation-type show... They are answering questions from fans and the like... Sounds pretty cool... I've been hearing it was gonna be at The Paradise (which is, I believe, the first place they ever played in America), but I don't think that anything has officially been annoucned... Maybe I missed it and they have announced that it will be at The Somerville... Speaking of all this U2 talk, can anyone fill me in on the relationship between U2 (specifically, Bono) and The Pogues (specifically, Shane)? I've always kind of wondered how you all got along... I know that I have read that Bono has a lof respect for The Pogues' work and has praised Shane in the past... And I thought I remembered reading that Bono put Shane up when Shane was hit by a car or something... Could remember that wrong... Just wondering if anyone could shed light on that... I know it is in the wrong section of the fora, my bad... It just made me think of it when U2 got brought up in this discussion... Thanks...

EDIT: Not to mention Friday is the final episode of Battlestar Galactica.

As I'm not dead yet, I don't quite know what Bono thinks about me, although I will reveal that my last will and testament specifically requests that if I predecease him, he be discouraged from saying anything at all.

Any chance you'll add west coast stops in late 2009? I'd love to see you in either Portland, OR or Seattle, WA...

Some friends and I are traveling from Winnipeg Manitoba to New York for the Friday 13 show. Just 8 more sleeps, my band mates are truly jealous.

Just got off the phone with Artist arena . I'm flying in on Friday from Vancouver and have Friday tickets as well . They said they'd mail the tics for Saturdays show early next week. Big sigh of relief and an early beer tonight to calm myself down. It's alot longer trip than Halifax the last few years and I'd hate to miss one song let alone a whole show.
Let's hope not too many fans miss out.
