Guys: Just got my tickets for March 20 in Boston. Yes the 21st is SOLD OUT I talked to a Ticketmaster representative. He said that some people may sell their tickets in the "Marketplace" section of the Ticketmaster website before the date. I looked on stub hub and they are going for 80$!!!! I'm guessing that House of Blues is small that's why it sold out so fast!

I Iooked back at my tickets, Iast year the second night wasn't added untiI Iater. Purchased ticketmaster for the 19th and Artist Arena for the 20th. Artist Arena purchased 2/2/08, received 2/28/08. Our probIen is with the postaI service. I have missing biIIs and other peopIes maiI (from other states) stuck inside of magazines.

These Boston dates are speciaI to Jim and I. The 3/14/06 show was our 25th anniversary. March 14th was the cIosest to St Paddy's that year. When eIse wouId James and KathIeen marry? We have come back each year since. NYC is just over the river but Boston is the perfect pIace to see the Pogues.

I just phoned the "Artist Arena" peopIe at the number incIuded on the e-maiI they sent when I purchased tickets, presaIe, on November 26, 2008. A maIe person answered the phone and without a breath informed me these tickets have not been maiIed out yet. Again, has anyone received presaIe, Artist Arena" tickets for March 21st, Saturday? I did just receive March 20th from Ticketmaster today.

You will get your Artist Arena tickets 1-2 weeks before the show. I have used them 4 times and they always deliver on time but never until close to the show. The envelopes are not well marked so be careful to check your "junk" mail before you toss it.

Woops. Thanks for the nudge Matt. I meant to post this information this morning.

I should also mention that I've been informed this is the last new show that will be added. None more new shows! None more new cities!

Not even Philadelphia.

  Maybe, hopefully, on a future tour Philly.

Just called Irving Plaza box office re: Live Nation's VIP seating for Mar 14.The guy said the seats are on the side stage and there's a bar there also.He said they were available to increase the profit margin(his words).Something to think about though.

The "side stage" is the old bandstand from Roseland's dance marathon days during the Depression. It's always slightly surprised me that "VIPs" are willing to put themselves on display up there, where they are highly visible. Maybe that's why they're VIPs and I've managed to preserve my precious privacy all my life.

One person's "VIP" might be another person's pain in the neck.

When I grabbed the scroll bar and drug it real fast to move on this page my brain saw the first 2 lines merge and "Banjo" and "Vocals" became.... Bono Vocals.

Okay, so now we know the line-up....

Question is what will the setlist be. Any new songs? Not that I don't love the old ones. But come on, it's been how many years since the last album?

"Frakenstein." A twenty minute free-form jam. You can thank me later.
