Presale starts at 3PM today...showtime is listed as 7PM.

Anyone know 1) the cost of tix, and 2) whether the presale limit is 2, 4 or some other number? I've got three friends who also want tickets, and I need to know how much money I'm going to have to front, or if one of them needs to buy the second pair.

I believe there is a limit of four tickets stated.

Oh yeah. Reading comprehension fail on my part.

And I guess the cost doesn't *really* matter...I'm going to buy the tickets anyways.

HAH not to worry, as on the web reading comprehension goes hand in hand with "dyslexic fingners"??...............the best part about that, is when communicating with others via the web, they actually get to understand our disconnect between our "fingners and our brians??..........................say what??................

I just came here to ask the same thing. I am getting nervous.

I hope it's just because they haven't posted it yet, and not because you can't buy tickets because the venue isnt finished yet.

FWIW, I had to e-mail Artist Arena about a login problem, and (since I was bugging them anyway) asked the same thing. They don't have any info on the Boston show yet, but advised me to "stay tuned", which I think means "continue obsessively refreshing".

The artistarena site specifies "The maximum order is four tickets."

Is that 4 tickets per show? I'd like to get 8 total spread over 4 nights.

I'll see if I can check with artistarena directly - will post here if I find out anything.

Glad to see they fixed the start time for 3-17 in DC to 7pm. Had alot of people wondering on the 9:30 Club board. Seemed a little weird to have a 3pm start time for the show.

You can't start too early on St Patrick's Day. Although, if my recollection of the Hammersmith Palais 1986 does not fail me, you can actually.

O happy day :D

Ahhh, this is (once again) most wonderful news to find here. Something positive to help balance out the negatives of the past year. My funds are a bit depleted after nearly 6 months of unemployment and moving twice (working again now, though!), but dammit there's enough wiggle room in the budget for a Pogues show. Or two...got to find a way to make the adventure that is a Pogues show in New York happen yet one more time.

Thanks for the heads up, Philip, and I'm as pleased as everyone else that you're feeling well enough to be there, too. Looking forward to seeing and hearing the boys and hopefully meeting up with some Medusans again to share a pint or two.

So is CHICAGO completely out of the question or is there still a chance? I need to know before I go buying tickets to other cities. Please say there's still a remote possibility of a CHICAGO concert.

No Boston Pre-Sale?

Post Thu Nov 20, 2008 6:24 pm

As noted earlier, the Boston date doesn't appear on the presale list. I wonder if this is due to the fact the venue is still under construction
and isn't open yet. I don't see any info on the HOB website with regard to Boston-still not sure if this is a seated venue or GA. If seated, no floor plan.
Plan on trying at 3PM, will post what happens with regard to Boston.

artistarena says: "That is 4 tickets per order. You can place as many orders as you would like."

I know it's way early, but is there any speculation on who will be the opening band/bands on this tour?

We just got final confirmation on the opening acts for the December shows. Don't get greedy! :)
