Please come back 2 Philly. I went the past two years and had the best times. 2 years ago when you guys came we had a terrible ice storm and the place was still packed and sold out. We will come out in force I will do promotion myself.

It's official, I cannot resist the lure of the Pogues on St Patrick's Day within traveling distance, I just can't do it. Just bought 2 tickets to the 9:30 show, I'll deal with the logistics of getting there on a day of classes and how I'll pay the Visa later. I suppose, in true Pogues fashion, fuck it. See everyone on March 17th!

Langerado Music Festival

Post Tue Dec 09, 2008 4:49 pm

The Pogues have joined the lineup of the Langerado Music Festival taking place March 6-7-8, 2009 in Miami, Florida. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 12.

No, I don't know which day (or days) our guys are actually performing. Philip?

The Boston tickets are not yet generally available, and they may not be until January.

Check back early and often. Any change in the availability of the Boston tickets will be posted immediately to the front page.

Do we know why the Boston tickets are late in going on sale? Also, do we know whether this is a general admission concert or whether the venue is complete? Someone thought it was still under construction..... dunno myself.

Methinks the Boston tickets are late because the venue is not yet ready for business.

This is worrisome. If it's not completed in time, will there still be a Boston performance? Otherwise, I might have to go to Atlanta. :(

Where it's warmer. :D

According to Pollstar, the first concert at the Boston HOB is supposed to be February 20th. There are 12 shows listed before The Pogues. I would hope/think they know what they're doing as to construction deadlines, and won't risk losing alot of money on show cancellations.

Why did the two Candian shows get cancelled and days later post a new show in Miami? Let me tell you that there is a massive irish population in Montreal and TO! Very disapointed. I guess we are going to have to drive to Boston....when do these tickets go on sale?

Canadian dates were cancelled pretty much as soon as they were announced. Your disappointment should (i believe) be directed towards whatever promoter screwed up the gigs there.

As for Florida, for all you know that gig could have been booked and just was'nt announced until now. And the Boston question is addressed earlier in this thread if you'd be as kind to read back a tad. :)

If I were you I would plan on attending both shows to be on the safe side.
