This is something you have to take up with our various publishers - Universal Music, Perfect Songs, Wardlaw Banks are the three main licensees.

Word from The Man is that Boston tickets "will not be available on Nov 28" when the other shows go on sale. It is hoped that they will become available in mid-December, but there is a slim chance they will not be available until January.

Once the date is known for certain it'll be announced here.

for people in the Philadelphia/ South Jersey area those date are not good for people who work.

March 9 ATL (a hot bed of all things irish) is a Monday, March 12/13 Thurs /fri in NYC, 16/17 a Monday and Tues DC, and Sat the 21st in Boston?

The only date i would possibly do would be the 13th in NYC w/ a hope that shane shows up late.

There has to be a venue open on the 14th or 15th in Philadelphia. Are the ticket sales not there in Philly? Looked pretty jammed last year and 2 years ago in Atlantic city.

I bet the saw docs show up in philly.

It's not really a matter of ticket sales, though we are usually quick to take note where we're not especially wanted. It's a routing thing, coupled with an occasional "day off" thing or a more frequent "travel day" thing. In this case it's also an "if we play anywhere at all on March 14, it is likely to be New York, given that it's the saturday before St Patty's Day" thing. Already, questions are being asked in the New York Senate about our apparent abandonment of that great city on St Pat's day itself.

Personally I think the turnout on the Monday St. Pat's Day this year was a bit bleak. Even though I'd love for you to be in NYC for the holiday again, I can't really blame you for giving a different city a "blessing!"

I too am curious how to get upstairs at Roseland...I already have my 4 tickets purchased (full price mind you)...any news about that???

Yeah, the old House of Blues in Cambridge is closed... It was in Harvard Square and has been a cool pub called Tommy Doyle's for a while now... The new HOB is gonna be on the combined site of the old Axis and Avalon clubs on Lansdowne Street... It hasn't opened yet... My girlfriend and I were in the Kenmore Square area last week and could see the building and it was obviously under construction... Neither of us thought it looked like it was gonna be ready for shows in March - but then again, neither of us is a construction expert... I trust that they know what they are doing and that it will be ready when it is supposed to be... The Dropkick Murphys play 5 shows there, the week before the Pogues show... So, I sure as hell hope it is ready - because I plan on going to one of those, as well...
I am going, I am going, where streams of whiskey are flowing...

It hasn't been ruled in or out just yet. It's one of thevery few variables still under scrutiny. Personally, I've been seeing Baltimore afresh since The Wire and am always happy to play B'more whenever possible.

Baltimore.....that's on The Big Island, right?

My only option when purchasing the pre-sale tickets was:

Will Call Order.
All Tickets must be picked up at the Venue after the doors open the night of the show.
Please bring your confirmation email and a picture ID.

I'll confirm before I get on the plane, but I sure would prefer to have those tickets in hand. Is this typical of artistarena for international sales? (It's only Canada, fer cryin' out loud)
...ain't it funny how you used to know everybody in these parts...

My artistarena confirmation e-mail didn't have any of this "will call order" nonsense. Nor did it in years past. In 2006, '07, and '08 my tickets arrived about a month before the show. Must be because Manitoba is so much closer to New York than BC, Cdn Steve.

Slight problem, I don't see Philly listed on the tour, I am assuming we will be included as well...or Baltimore if nothing else, at least hotels are cheap in Baltimore unlike NYC or D.C.

Keep the hope alive my friend. Don't die inside.

Also, don't buy any tickets that say "In Philly!" They're probably fake.
