So is there a definitive answer on seating for the Dublin show. I'm going to be 6 months pregnant and the seated section would be nice.

Got tickets for me and me dad to see Brixton on the 19th. Hopefully I'll see them this year - last year we got halfway there on the train but I felt so ill I could barely walk. I was absolutely gutted!

Who do we think will be our 'Fairytale' lady? I'd love to see Ella Finer as I've heard she's very good. However I think they should get Liberty Hayes in - she's unbelievably underrated. She's the one who sang 'The Dirty Glass' with the Dropkick Murphys. They performed it at Reading Festival and I thought she (and, of course, the Murphys) were sensational.

We have our Brixton ticets for the 19th December and would also lke to get tickets for Sheffield. I don't think ticketmaster have any standing tickets left but I remember there are two record shops selling tickets so have been trying to find their phone nos. Does anyone know these nos and could put them on the forum? if so we would be very grateful.

Hi,
why don't you try to buy the tickets here?: http://www.sheffieldacademy.co.uk/
I bought my ticket to Brixton at the Brixton Academy website and you can print your tickets at home. I know is not as the same as having the "originals" but... I'm in Canada so it was the best option for me.
Good luck,

J

Just wondered if we should expect any surprises in the set-lists this December? I love heading to see the Pogues for all the classics and the relatively recent addition of Kitty was amazing. Are there any songs people would particularly like to hear? I wonder how the rehearsals are going and if the collective would be open to suggestion?????? This may require a separate thread, but for the record I would love to hear NAVIGATOR live. I'm heading to the Belfast gig and second night in brixton.

In case anybody on here is still thinking about it, you need to get your finger out to get tickets for Friday the 19th in Brixton. Ticketmaster is out of stalls tickets. Ticketweb and See Tickets still have some.

Looking good for an added Saturday?

Nobby, you scared me! I went straight to the Brixton Academy site but there seem to be plenty of tickets still going, including stall standing.

I tried to book six tickets but suffered a major shock when they added £22 "service charge", hoiking the total up to over £200! So I'll be holding off for a little while longer.

Christine,

Don't say I didn't warn you!

Brixton Academy uses Ticketweb which is where I got my six this morning. Ticketmaster has hardly any left and See Tickets will only let you have four at a time, which is a real pain. Pogues fans hunt in packs, don't they know!

The add-ons to ticket prices are a pisser but £3-4 is the norm. The only way to get round them is to go to the venue with cash and I think the Academy box office is only open when there is something on.

I have been holding off waiting to work out what dates to go to as I normally do my home town of manchester and all the brixtons, but am going for leeds and the brixtons this year - got all the tickets off ebay at face value - all coming in one envelope and I have agreed with the kind lady that she is only charging one p & p fee - no service charges no transaction fees and no 3 days off work waiting for 3 couriers to turn up from see tickets.

Seems a bit strange that the seller would sell them at a loss so far in advance of the concert. I presume she would have had to pay all the fees etc so if you are getting them at face she has lost money. What is she charging for postage?
Anyway i hope your bargain turns out to be true.

Well if it's anything like last year at the RDS, there won't be a seated section. There is another solution but I can't PM you to tell you about it unless you're a member...
