It's completely sold out: http://www.nme.com/news/v-festival/35000

Though doubtless many tickets are still available on ebay.

Don't give up yet, keep checking Ticketmaster etc as returns are always popping up. For example, I'm going to T in the Park and tickets are still coming up on official ticket vending sites sporadically, even if the link says sold out click it anyway and occasionally you'll be in luck. I know of a few people getting tickets months after they suposedly sold out by just keeping their eyes peeled and checking sites regularly, I'm sure the same can be said for V or Oxygen. Theres no need to resort to the dreaded Ebay yet.

Reports coming throu that The Pogues are playing second headliners in the King Tut tent at T In The Park, just before Ian Brown. Any truth in this?

Hi everyone by the way, first post. Seen The Pogues for the first time around 20 odd years ago, 4 times in all. Getting very excited about seeing them again at my local festival.

hello irons! welcome aboard. King here.

i just checked the official t in the park site and it seems that you are correct. so at both V and T in the park The Pogues are playing second to headlining, both before Ian Brown.

I'm really happy about the Pogues getting that slot at T, Tuts will be perfect for them, going to be a great atmosphere in there :D

Mr C, I was wondering, do the band have any say as to which stage/time they play at festivals or is it entirely down to the promoters? Many thanks!

When a promoter offers us a show, details of which stage, what time, size of billing etc, are all on offer too, along with the fee, and all or some of these factors may still be up for negotation. Ultimately these details form part of the contracted engagement.

You should easily be above Ian Brown! i know enough people will be there for ian brown but itll be one hell of an anti climax, everyone steamin n goin fuckin nuts for Pogues, then ian brown strowling out after. if it were other way round all ian brown fans could enjoy him, get out of way after n clear the path for mayhem!! Ohwell, these things always happen at festivals n be Nice for pogues to blow roof off tent before hand anyway!!

Umm. Brittany. I'm pretty sure that's in Francelandia, and therefor Continental. Am I mistaken?

And the festival website is here: http://www.festival-terre-neuvas.com/index.fr.php
Though there's currently no mention of The Pogues on it.
