This is off the v festival website...

That looks like the 2007 V Festival line-up to me, Rum. I don't think this year's schedules will have been announced yet.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Yeah thats V2007 lineup for sure. The only band 'officially' announced by V for this year so far are Muse.

August 17 is my birthday, that would be a grand birthday present.

By Dublin, I presume you mean the Oxegen Festival, in Co Kildare?

Kind offer, but I've actually got to go to Galway more or less directly after the show, to give a presentation of a new theatre commission the next day.

Can't speak for Spider, of course.

Philip, are you intending to be back in the fold for these shows then? (sorry if this has already been asked/answered but I've been off the radar for a couple of weeks so am not up to date with the fora at the mo)

If so, that must be exciting/weird/exhilirating/intrepidating/a relief? [delete as applicable]

Pardon my ignorance but I don't know how long it takes to get back to full "match fitness" after the treatments and whatnot you've had to put up with.

ive been wainting 4 the pogues to do t in the park for years! what stage is it,they havnt been list 4 the main 2 so i presume its either king tuts or pet sounds,i hope its pet sounds cos theyve got the best audio that can only do the porgues justice,i think the capacitys too small tho.the pogues just playn at t in the park is the best news ive heard this year!

Nice to hear that the Pogues will play some major Festivals in Great Britain and Ireland. A question to Mr. Chevron is will the pogues play any festivals in Europe? I would love to see you play a festival in the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium. I already recommend you for years at the Pinkpop festival organisation. You have played there once in the late eighties and Shane had played there once in 1995 (I have to admit that 1995 performance of Shane wasn't a big success at all). It should be great to see you again at the pinkpopfestival. They still have to confirm 8 bands, is there any chance? or is there a chance that you will play at another dutch, Belgium or German festival???

Hell yeah, a festival in Germany and/or Netherlands would be awesome! Saw Shane at Pinkpop 95 as well and well, hate to admit you're right, wasn't any good.

I´ve got a bootleg video of this somewhere around, and it´s no good seeing Shane being carried away off stage by Charlie McLennan due to extreme drunkenness. One of the worst shows I´ve seen so far.
