I like Kate Nash's album. She reminds me a little of a young Kirsty. I presume this refers to a support slot, but it would be cool if she actually joined the band for a couple of numbers.

Just saw this on the FOS mailing list. Will she be doing the FONY guest vocal? Just NY? All East Coast?
Was kinda hoping for SInead, not that Ella wasn't great in 2006.

I would love if she was the support for one of the NY shows, reminds me a lot of Lily Allen but I like her too. Foundations is a fun song, sounds like the rest of her album is pretty good too.

I've just realised I was getting Kate Nash confused with Amy Macdonald, who's album I love. I don't like Kate Nash at all!!

Amy Macdonald reminds me of a young Kirsty too! And she should support the Pogues sometime.

sorry i just listened to the late nash album and while initially interesting I had to turn off by song 7. so juvenile and boring. rOLL on mar 16 at the roseland!

Sort of close. She was at Roseland last night, but with Billy Bragg. She played a mean tin whistle.

Saw Kate last night in New York. She did not perform with the Pogues, but did two numbers with Billy Bragg ( who was effing excellent) including one in which she played the penny whistle quite well. Don't know who the fuck she is, but she was not bad.

Yeah, she did a couple songs with Billy Bragg last night and was pretty great. I dunno if her voice was suited to that kinda music, but I can definitely hear her doing some amazing stuff with the right backing band.
