Here we are again... just hours away from another unforgettable Pogues show. This makes three fantastic years in a row seeing The Pogues in March and I truly feel honored to be blessed with the experience.

Three more hours & I'm out of work.

Gonna grab the Lady, make sure the Sprout is settled, get a bite/beer..then head down to the electric factory!

:D

Tonight can't get here fast enough.
Took off tomorrow & Monday.

My B-Day happens to be St. Patty's Day.

What a perfect start to my 4 day Birthday weekend!

I'd love to hear her chime in, "Ya scumbag, Ya maggot, Ya cheap lousy...."

He is anything but cheap what with the 30,000 dollars a day.

Going to the Orpheum on the 19th.

Come to think of it, this'll be my first concert. Is the Orpheum one of those "everyone-gets-up-and-dances" places or one of those "people-sit-in-their-seats" places?

Everyone will be standing/dancing but there isn't much room to move. The place was built in the early 20th century. People were much smaller back then.

Until Wednesday it's..."Six to Go..."

Hell of a show last night guys. It was great seeing all of you again. I was really happy you played Body of an American, as I really have always loved that one.

Seeing/hearing Philip on stage singing Thousands Are Sailing damn near brought a tear to my eye.

Had to cancel my trip due to illness.
Don't know if I'll be able to bring myself to read the reviews of the NY gigs when they happen.

I hope the band keeps performing at the top of their game, of course. I'll just be extremely jealous of everyone there  ...

What does one to say to a band that has most likely heard it all before. ??? Yea...so last nights show in Philly was amazing! As a vet of East coast punk shows...I have seen lots of band and personalities. Yet, last night was the best show of my life! In short...thanks a million! Up the Irish!

I ordered two pre-sale tickets for the 3/17 show from Artist Arena, but I never received them. I called them and they informed that they will cancel my tickets and reissue them at the will call window. I am flying in from LA on Sat. afternoon. Originally, my friend was coming with me, but now I will be wandering NYC by myself. So, I have a spare ticket for 3/17 (floor) if anyone needs one. I am willing to trade for a ticket to the 3/16 show. I figured I'd go to the show on 3/16 since I will be myself and don't know NYC very well. Still excited though, since this will be my first Pogues show(s)!

As maybe the only one at this site who has yet to experience a Pogues show, I surely enjoy living vicariously through all the accounts of shows on the current tour. How I'd love to be in New York this weekend to see WEW and the Pogues (AND Billy Bragg!) Cheers to all you fortunate ones!
