4 of us are heading up to Chicago from Kansas City tonight for tomorrow night's show. It will be my first Pogues show, can't wait!

Anyone know if Cameras are allowed at the venue?

There appears to be some confusion about when doors open Wed night, time of opening act, etc. One of the Chicago papers apparently said doors open at 6pm, but tickets say 7:30. Philip has always been wonderful about posting when doors open, when opening act comes on, and when Pogues come on. Can anyone help?

Anyone know what time doors open for the Philly show? I didn't have any luck getting an answer from the Electric Factory.

Also wondering about when the doors open for Chicago? My ticket says the show is at 7:30, the Riviera website says it's at 7:00... Riviera site also says it is an all-ages show and that all-ages shows must end by 10:00 PM on a weeknights due to curfew, what a bummer!

From the Riviera's web site: For most public shows, recording devices including cameras, video recorders and audio recording devices may not be brought into the venue.

Bummer. I was hoping to get a couple of blurry shots of the band, too. Oh, well.

Believe it or not, near-reliable information (by which I mean it's still flexible) on all this stuff rarely becomes available until the night before the show. Stay tuned.

Phone with CAMERAS are certainly allowed insude...I mean, I aint sayin', I'm just sayin'...

It must be a good feeling knowing how much joy your their music brings - that thousands of eager fans are gearing up for the highlight of their year, the Pogues show (or shows), putting all of the Pogues CDs in constant rotation, making plans to meet up with friends and celebrate life - all the more miraculous in these days when there is so little to celebrate. When the Pogues are on stage things are about as close to perfect as they get, and one must cherish those moments.

These shows are occasions all of us will talk about the rest of our lives.

If last year's shows are any indication, I would imagine that the Pogues will come on shortly after 8 and play for two hours. Ike Reilly is opening at 7. Slainte.
