2 Tickets for 3/16

Post Sun Jan 13, 2008 2:05 am

When we were ordering our tickets for the NY show, we got overexcited and both members of the people who are going bought tickets, so we ended up with two extras. We weren't trying to cheat anyone out of a show. I know they aren't sold out yet, but if anyone wants to help us out by taking the two tickets off our hands, we will sell them at cost price. We don't want to make a profit, but can't afford to lose the money on the extra tickets. If anyone is looking for tix for March 16 at the Roseland, please email me at geo_wils@hotmail.com

hey canadian it is so refreshing to see a true pogues fan sell tix like that. i ended up paying 120 per ticket last year for philly and drove 3 and a half hours from harrisburg pa to the philly show in terrible weather.(11/2 hr. normal drive). so many people look to profit off these tix . GOOD FOR YOU. SLAINTE !
P.S. show was still worth it, be at nyc on the 15th ! 3yrs. in a row GOTTA LUV IT !!!

Does anyone have any idea when/if the March 20 Boston tickets will go on sale. I first heard the Pogues a few years ago and I can't miss the opportunity to see them in Boston this year. I'm just not sure if I should buy tickets for the 19th or wait until the tickets for the 20th go on sale and hopefully get better seats.

Wow, amazing by a lovely and unexpected turn of events it looks as if I will be in New York the same time as The Pogues. Coincedence or magic?

Welcome! Setlists for the December shows have been posted on other threads -- check elsewhere in the "Live Shows" threads -- and I'm thinking March's setlist might be similar, except that they probably won't play Fairytale of New York, it not being Christmas.

See y'all in NYC! I'll have tickets in hand for Sunday the 16th soon. I'll be there with my friend Marisa, and whoever else decides to join our bandwagon. Still looking for tickets for the 15th. And I'm going to call my 84-year-old aunt (in "suburban Maryland") to see if she would like to join me in Boston, assuming I can get some front-row balcony seats. I know she'd love it.

From a friend that works for Electric Factory Concerts:

Tix go on sale Friday January 18th. Not sure of the time yet, but most likely noon. $60 per ticket plus the usual Ticketbastard fees.

60 per ticket?Well, at least it's the same as last year. Of course, TM's stupid 'ream you' charges have gone up, no doubt. Hope the weather is better this year in Philly!

I was gonna order tickets for the 16th tonight, but maybe I'll hold off and go for the 13th and 17th.

How accurate is this information?

I did some checking of my own from work this morning. The ticketmaster website was just updated with this information.

Tickets for the March 13th Pogues show go on sale on Friday January 18th at 10:00am EST. Just like last year they'll be $60.

Any chance of a presale for all of us ticketmaster haters?

The Electric Factory on-sale date is confirmed. Tickets will also be available at the Electric Factory and Live Nation box offices.

Internet only pre-sale will be tomorrow (Jan 15) at 3:00pm EST. URL is on the front page of our Medusa.

Reminder that this is a 21+ show, but minors can attend if accompanied by an adult, etc etc.
