Missed the London shows for the first time in ages as a result of travelling so not very happy. Signed on here for the first time in a while last night and saw the East Coast dates listed cheering me up no end. Had planned already to go to NY in March to see some friends. So double whammy catching up with friends and taking them to The Pogues. Managed to get tix for Roseland 15th.

Hopefully can meet up with some NY Medusans :)

Maybe someone already asked this question.

Are children allowed at the Orpheum in Boston? I am thinking about bringing our 5 and 6 year olds to their first Pogues show.

I looked up a number you can phone and ask: 800 279-4444 - Toll Free. Prob it's okay if booze isn't allowed in the theatre, but best to make sure.

Philip mentioned right off the bat that St Paddy's Day would be celebrated at Roseland. At this point they're dithering just to torture me.

It's far worse than waterboarding!

Just got four in the 3rd row orchestra for Boston. Great news for all going to the Boston show (shows, hopefully!):

Here's hoping it's up and running by March!

I think they are, Mike. It'll be my third year in the mezzanine, & I've got Row C in the center section this time 'round. I like the perspective from up in the heavens - the view is great, the sound is fairly good (for bouncing around in such and old theatre). Of course getting up and dancing in your seat at such a great height is a bit risky, but hey, that's what my Roseland ticket is for. ;-). Doing both shows sort of makes for a yin/yang kind of Pogues concert experience.

Well this is a crock of shit.

Went on at 10:00 to get tickets for the Orpheum show. Ticketmaster gave me the worst possible 60+ dollar seats. Checked after and there were a huge amount of better seats available. Then it blocked my IP.

Bumming

Post Fri Dec 21, 2007 11:08 pm

Same thing with Ticketmaster as happened to the last guy. On at 10, row Z (26th row) on the side as Orchestra prices - this is like the last row with set up chairs behind the main section. Then 1/2 hour later they had center seats in 12th, 14th and 15th rows. Never buying anything through Ticketmaster again.

I would seriously consider calling Ticketmaster and yelling at people.
