I was hoping for Richmond, Charlotte or Atlanta, but any Pogues' gig is worth a little travel. See y'all in Chicago! :D

Holy shit - I am SOOOOOOO happy. We had to bury my 22 year-old neice today (heroin overdose,) so any joyful news is most welcome. The fact that I will be seeing the Pogues for (hopefully) multiple nights definately fits that bill.

I sincerely hope that Phillip's health finds him able to be there, as "Thousands" is definately a highlight of the show.

See you in a few months.

I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.

God, I love being gone a few days and coming back to news of how i will spend March 2008, thank you Pogues!

Well, seeing as Avalon in Boston is torn down and all, I guess there won't be any shows there this year...

Fortunately, when they built the Orpheum Vaudeville circuit, they made their theatres fit to last, real estate developers notwithstanding.

Wonderful news. Maybe the new music hall being built in place of Avalon
will be open?

If not, I think I will make sure my father and uncle come to the Orpheum.
Even though I "hated" Irish music growing up, they introduced me to it
and my love of the Pogues grew from that. My uncle was in a Irish
band here in Boston during the '70s called "Fenian Folk" that recorded
an album featuring "Dirty Old Town".

So being a theatre person Mr. Chevron, you will be there in March??
Thanks for the great news and we all will be praying that you
will be with the rest of the band.

I think I'll try to see a Boston show.

Does anyone know if the Orpheum is an all-ages venue?
Not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent. I thought you were supposed to be good. Aren't you the... 'good' man?
