Places To Stay In London

Post Mon Nov 19, 2007 10:55 am

Anyone know of anywhere to stay in London, that's cheap(ish) & close(ish) to the Brixton Academy?

You could have stayed in my bedroom but I'll be home for Christmas.

places to stay in London

Post Mon Dec 03, 2007 11:04 pm

Well last year we stayed at the Battersea Travelodge and it cost us about £45.00 but this year it would be £75.00! Instead we are going to stay at a Holiday Inn express - you could check out the nearest one to the Academy don't know where it is because we are staying in the East of London. The cost is less than Travelodge £54.00. Goood luck! :)

What about Sarah or Nevski, Jon?

The Comfort Inn at Vauxhall is near to the academy but bloody expensive at £99 a room - alright if you're sharing with someone, obviously- if not theres bed and breakfasts thingies in Victoria.. :)

I'm sorted with a place in Victoria, £40 on an early booking, just hope I'm sober enough to find the place after the gig

Just sleep on a toilet in the Academy and you´ll be sorted for the 19th. And youll save the money for the hotell. :D

Otherwise Walshy will be happy to walk you home

On a second thougt, maybe the desorinted Londoner who goes under the name of Walshy may NOT be the best to give you directions, could be a long night of walking since she dont know wich is north, south, east or west. :D

HAR HAR HAR!

I do know where I'm going around my parts, I do!

Anyway Jon just to prove to you how well i know this .. when you come out of the academy there is a bus stop across the road.. get on a night bus called N2 and it'll take you to Victoria.. I say get the bus cause I don't think they'll be any tubes that time of night..

See? Helpful Walsh.
