Well the latter didn't materialize, hopefully you made and 'enjoyed' your walk though.
I had another look around and discovered two things. For one: there's more fence there than I noticed first time around. Secondly, many more roads were blocked now than in early November. How come??
Was there more tension recently? Is this general practice in weekends? Does that have sth. to do with it almost being Christmas? Who can help me out?

Sorry to not have met,
undoubtedly there'll be more opportunities

Sorry folks i never made the meet, ended up in the kings head across the road from the venue and well you know what its like i kind of got settled in - what a complete Shit hole of a venue the Kings Hall is though, totally unable to cope with a crowd of that size, i would plead with the band to look at some of these big venues and at least play venues that you can use the toilet in !
That said the band were fantastic, i thought Shane was in excellent form, as for the crowd, well i've only done the 2 gigs this year and i have to say the Birmingham crowd was far more up for it, every last oner of us sang along word for word, a large proportion of the Belfast crowd did not seem to know the words to some of the songs, but maybe that was just me
Really sorry i missed everyone :(

Yes i made the bus tour, they lock the gates at the weekends, the guide filled me in on the bus attack, they are very lucky people to still be walking, produced Rangers shirts and union jacks outside the memorial garden and got surrounded by Taxi's,in the guides words " the first one on the bus was the one that did those 2 squaddies at the funeral ", as i've already said I'm really sorry i missed you and yes hopefully there will be more opportunities
Happy Christmas t o you all

Clever man, when we saw those pubs opposite the venue we were very surpirsed that the meet wasn't there, as the Hatfield was a curious choice, miles away from both the City Centre and the venue

Actually if you went out into the Smoking area, there were a dozen or so more toilets, portaloos mind, but no queues.

funny how you were to have a meal inside the Dublin venue:

there was food on one side of the auditorium and drinks on the other,
yet you weren't allowed to bring the one to the other,
so you really had to make up your mind:
"do I want my beer before my pizza, or my pizza before the beer" :(

solution of course: a beer before and a beer after

but no way could one wash the pizza down with a beer
