I now have my tickets for Manchester.

Bad news.

I have got flu. :x

Ahh that is gutting. You'll be fine. My other message never worked what i replied with was that if i ended up with ten girls around me when I shouted Heather then 'whats the problem' it was a bad joke. Hope your ok for the gig

Think I'll be fine, seem to have got rid of most of it now, just a slight soar throat and the odd sniffle. Started drinking Lemsips right from the moment I realised I had it, which I think helped.

Anyway, roll on Saturday. :D

That's great news :)
Glad you're feeling better already. Just keep taking care of yourself until then!

My train gets into Manc Oxford Road at 17.44 it is a 6 min walk to the Rain Bar from there (i've timed it as i've done it that many times   ) so i shall be in there before 6!

Will be popping into the best pub in manchester the Brittons Protection en route to the gig mind.

Anyone have any idea of times with their being 2 others on? will the support start earlier or the pogues come on later? Dont think the G Mex will be as strict at the MEN with a time to finish as its not really on the doorstep of a station

ER...yeah a little bit. If you head out of the Sports Cafe and back into town until you hit St Peters Square the G Mex (and the Rain Bar) are on the right at the back of the Midland Hotel; its about a 15 min walk.

Walk down Portland Street, away from picc gardens, until you come to the main road where there is a Macdonalds facing you on the opposite side and a casino and weatherspoons to your right. Cross the road, walk down the street at the side of the Macds until you come to the Pevril of the Peak Pub on your left; the rain bar is facing you.

We too (four of us, two of each type, heh heh) also hope to be in the Rain Bar. Fuck knows what you all look like but I'll use my Spider Sense to try and sniff out other Medusans. Would be great to say hello to one or two of you.

I'll be the one in the Pogues T-shirt!
