I am informed that Manchester is the only show on the tour NOT sold out and that yes, tickets will still be available at the door, though they are likely to be for the seating sections rather than floor/pit/general admission.

There will be an aftershow party at Manchester Aqua Bar starting at 22.30 after the Manchester Central gig!

See you there!

Do you need a ticket for this? Or is it pay on the door?

Tickets (?)

Post Mon Dec 03, 2007 6:46 pm

Quick poll please. Anyone still awaiting tickets via "Gigs and Tours", and if so any feedback from them on likely arrival?

Here's to a more intimate (little bit) beeter venue than the big shed up the road, and a bit of Billy Bragg as well. " Do not pay more than £3.99 for this LP"!

Yes still awaiting tickets, was going to phone up at the weekend, but was too busy.

The E-Mail I got when I ordered said not to phone unless they hadn't been received by 5 - 7 days before the event, but I am worried.

Hopefully they'll send them out this week, if not I will be on the phone at the weekend and I'll be asking them if I can pick them up at the venue instead.

If you have a General Admission ticket, you are in the Standing Area. Seating is always last to sell at a Pogues show. I don't suppose there'd be any objection to having a bit of a sit down at some point if access to the seating is simple. But it really depends on how strict the Security people are.

At the M E N they can best be described as a cross between Her Flick of the Gestapo and a guardsman from the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards.

Lets hope they are all to busy with Mark Owen and Co that night to work the G Mex!

 And I found them very friendly and polite, compared to the security staff they usually have over here.

I may not need to ring, I just used the tracker and it now says my tickets are allocated and will be dispatched shortly - about bloody time.
