UK/Ireland Christmas tour 2007 - pre-sale

Post Wed Aug 29, 2007 9:16 am

The Internet pre-sale for the upcoming UK / Ireland shows will start tomorrow (August 30) at 9:00am GMT. You can find the link on the frontpage. Tickets will go on sale through the usual outlets on August 31 at 9:00am GMT. Good luck! :)

As I’ve been told, it’s the case where you just click on the link at 9am tomorrow and can buy the tickets. So all you need is to be at the right time at the right place. :)

Looks like I'm missing the presale then. :(

Unless there are still tickets left at 5.30pm when I get home.

If not looks like it's Friday at 5.30pm, my other half will just have to wait for his tea.

Oh damn I forgot Friday is shopping night. :(

Never mind I'm sure I'll get them.

Zuzana, I thought the idea of the presales was that The Pogues were disappointed with their performance last year at Manchester and wanted to offer some form of compensation to those who attended for this years Manchester date. Not that I was disappointed but I was just wondering.

The pre-sale DISCOUNT (£5) applies only to Manchester. We've had this pre-sale thing since ether 2001 or 2004. I find it all a bit silly but promoters and fans alike seem to disagree with me. When customers and promoters are actually on the same side about something, stick with it!

Thanks for the answer Philip, I think, looking at the other topics in the live show forum that some were under the impression that it may be for all the gigs (I know some of them were joking though).

I'm after Belfast tickets, there does'ent seem to be an option to buy these on the pre sale, i know in previous years the Dublin ticket sale times differ from the rest, any idea when these go on sale Mr C ?

I'm afraid not. If there turns out not to be a pre-sale option, I'll try to figure it out after I get to Dublin tomorrow afternoon. I'm confident the Belfast show will do very good business, but I don't see any real reason why it should sell out in the first 24 hours.
