Hopefully there will be a huge, sealed glass box around the soundboard at the Brixton gigs so no beer is spilled on it :lol:

Unfortunately, I don't think I can fly over this year. Bummer. :cry:

I heard the rumour that they were going to ban beer at Brixton, to avoid a repeat of last year's "incident".

Kidding, naturally. You can all breathe again now. :wink:
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Belfast will be mental, It has been a while since the Pogues have been welcomed to the city, Kings Hall shall be jumping, personally I can hardly wait. Having seen them In London and Dublin on numerous ocasions over the last few years (all excellent), I think this show will outstrip the lot of em. Hope to see you there Mr C. Best wishes.

Belfast and Dublin

Post Thu Aug 23, 2007 7:40 pm

What's the best way to travel if you want to see the shows in Belfast and Dublin?
Then they'll take you to Cloughprior and shove you in the ground. But you'll stick your head back out and shout "We'll have another round"

Not sure about Dublin, I will be there if I can get the Monday off, but Manchester and Belfast for me I think.

Now I know where to stay in Manchester, any suggestions for Belfast?

Where is a good place to stay in Manchester, if I might ask?

I'm trying to pick a Christmas date to try to go to, since this tour corresponds perfectly with my winter break.

There are loads of decent Hotels in Manc now, from the Hilton on Deansgate to Travel Inn's galore round the city.

This is a good one;

Its about 10 mins walk from the G Mex, there is also the Midland right at the side of the G mex which is a meant to be the best hotel in the city, or was till recently.
