Hm. When 'Accept lift from stranger' -> 'See the Pogues in concert', I'll take my chances :)

Birmingham is only 30 minutes on the train, the only problem with the gig being on a Sunday is the time of the last train from Birmingham to Telford is normally around half past ten.

Let me know if you are going to be in Telford I might possibly be driving to Nottingham on the Friday, if I am you are welcome to a lift.

Thanks a lot, that sounds just great, wolvespogue! :D I'll get back to you as soon as I know more. Oh, you're not registered here, will be hard to send you a PM then. Hm, the 16th is Sunday and thus the final, but hey, I'm not likely to get tickets for the final anyway.

Maija

I am having problems with my computer at the moment, once it is sorted I will register my details.

However if you need to contact me, I am sure if you PM wwfcpogue he can pass on my details.

I think you'll be OK, I met him last year in Manchester, he seemed alright from across the table in the pub.

I'd start checking out places quickly because Take That are also playing in Manchester on the 15th.

I've booked the Britannia, thanks to advice from this forum. Seems to quite good and close to the venue.
