I accept the reasoning entirely. And I'm sitting here regretting that 19th is the one night I certainly can't go to Brixton. Ah well.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Strnage reasoning indeed, but hey ho i guess some people will go to the 3rd night? Like those unable to be in london for the first two...

Tickets are booked for the first two Brixton shows and I will buy one for the third as well when they are for sale. Haven´t been to London for 9 years so I´m really looking forward to it. Seen The Pogues two years in a row in Glasgow so Brixton will be something new. Will miss the Celtic football chants though....

Argh! I would have booked on the pre-sale but the page says the tickets are standing tickets. On ticketmaster today it just says general admission. I've tried to look up information on Manchester Central to find out if there's seats at the venue but I can't find anything.

I'd be going with my dad who will want to sit. I'm dissapointed I won't get the £5 discount, because I didn't use the pre-order link that didn't explain the ticket type - and had no links to find out about the venue. (I went to Manc last year, and although enjoyed the show and didn't expect a discount this time it would have been very nice).

I don't suppose there's any chance of that discount anymore? What if I still use the pre-sale link? The link works but is this now just the same as using any gigs and tours link?

Oh, and are there seats at Manchester Central? :)

Don't worry, last year the Dublin gig went on sale later than the ones in the UK.

This is probably the case this year aswell with the Irish gigs.

I just booked tickets for me and my dad; I'll only just be 18 when we go to Brixton on the 18th, so I'll be able to enjoy the night properly, especially as this'll be my first Pogues gig.

Tickets for Dublin

Post Sun Sep 02, 2007 11:50 am

HELP needed people!! We always go to the MEN Manchester gig, but this year my daughter bought us flights and accom for the Dublin show. Its my 50th this year (as well as Shane's) and she took a punt that the gig would be on Sat 22nd Dec.
We arrived home from hols yesterday and I checked the website and found the dates had been announced!!!!!!!!! ARG, I nearly fainted when my eye caught the Belfast gig on the Sat, but when I came round and realised that they were in Dublin on the 23rd I was so so so so so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then I spent 4 hours searching for tickets. I even dreamt that it was sold out and we had to listen from outside.

I won't sleep again until I've booked them. Anyone out there know how/when we can get them coz Ticketmaster etc only seem to sell them for UK based gigs.
Fifteen minutes later we had our first taste of whiskey ...

WOW! Be cool a chara! All will be fine, the Irish dates typically dont sell out until a lot closer to the date(possibly with the exception of Belfast this year). You'll have plenty of time to get them once on sale, just keep checking here and on ticketmaster.ie

I forgot about Notts. It is actually only an hour or so away from where I live. So you have a private Pogues gig. woop
