I must say he did a remarkable job this night! He was there and present if you didn't know better you'dthink he had played with them for many years!

Lucky begger!! Although is a bit young to be a Pogue these days..

Spider, I'm digging the stutter, you sound like my boss. I know Philip's absence means the songs is in doubt just making a plea, please, please don't drop 1000's from the set list. Can't Shane or possibily Terry give it a go?

The stutter is because the people who run this site blocked the usual spelling and also Pogues Whistle Player and believe it or not Whistle Player, in some attempt to get me to register which for reasons of my own I am unwilling to do. We did spend a long time rehearsing Thousands before the gigs last week and it sounded great end but given Shanes late and wobbly arrival at Way Out West, the change of key and a shortened set we decided not to risk it. It'll be back for America.

Umm. I just checked - "Pogues Whistle Player" and "Whistle Player" aren't blocked. The names "Spider," "Spider Stacy," and "SpiderStacy" are blocked in order to prevent people from posting using your name (you'd be surprised how often people try to register using one of the band's names).

If you want me to remove the block on your name (either so you can register, or because you don't care if other people can post using the name), let me know. I'll be happy to accommodate.

On reflection, you've made your opinion on this pretty clear. The block has been removed from "Spider," "Spider Stacy," "SpiderStacy," and "Spider_Stacy."

As I've said before - please feel free to contact me if you have opinions or concerns about things here. I'm more than happy to consider anything you have to say.

And anyone can be the anonymous guest here.
Philip and James have been gracious enough to share some "behind the curtain" experiences of this band that we admire.
Is this "whistle player," or "sssspider," for real?
Some responses have some validity, but other posts sound like a 12 year old little girl who got mud on her Sunday dress. "Poor, poor me."

Mr. Stacy, If you do actually post here, your contributions are certainly appreciated.

What is your reluctance to be registered here?

Continue to hide behind the "guest" vail, and your validity will continue to be questioned. And would you please quit the "guest" cunt attitude.

Best regards,
Guest

If worse comes to worst, just play the music and we will sing the lyrics! We'll sing it loud enough so that Mr. C can hear it across the pond.
