Pogues Pre/Post Party In Las Vegas

Post Fri Jul 20, 2007 8:24 pm

I know if awfully early but how about a bunch of Pogues Fan's getting together in Las Vagas for a pre or post gig party on November 2nd?
Any takers? A good night out on the piss with the Pogues is just what the doctor ordered!

Cheers,

From my one and only visit to Vegas for the Pogues show last October, may I humbly recommend the magnificent Double Down Saloon. Great jukebox, interesting choice of drinks, eclectic mix of punters, check their website for more info.

Vegas pubs (as potential meeting places) have been widely discussed last year... HERE

Yes Nine Fine Irishman in NY,NY is a fine pub. The bar at the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino has great atmosphere but certainly not pub charm

When i was in there while in Vegas a couple of years ago some dude was singing Sally Mac while playing a guitar. It didn't sound too clever really but the pub was alright for that type of place.

Guys, Nine Fine Irishmen is about as 'real' an Irish bar as anything else is 'real' in Vegas. We paid a visit last October, to find a couple of dudes singing 'Seven drunken nights', and 'Johnny jump up', whilst people ate their Shepherds Pie and Irish Stew - pretty depressing really.

Keep in mind it's Las Vegas, nothing is real. Looking for a pre show bar stool to skull a few pints share a few laughs.
