The answer to the question of who the opening acts will be (at least at San Diego and Anaheim) is found here:
http://www.hob.com/tickets/eventdetail. ... ntid=47217

San Diego: Ollin and William Elliott Whitmore
Anaheim: Ted Leo & The Pharmacists and William Elliott Whitmore

Songs are really just very interesting things to be doing with the air. - Tom Waits

Possibly Dropkick???

Post Wed Sep 19, 2007 1:22 am

Probably no way this would happen, but Dropkick Murphys have a strange block of no dates from 9/30 to 11/02 (which is at The Wiltern in LA) A bit odd for a band that is touring in support of a new album. Could it be that they might be opening? Or maybe just a weird coincidence! If nothing else the folks in LA are in for a treat! Two nights of the Pogues followed by a DKM show!

Some may call it a treat...I call it needing rehab on the third.

The Filthy Thieving Bastards are playing on the 22nd and 23rd according to their MySpace. I was also told this by Johnny's wife.

The 22nd and the 23rd were the dates I originally got from Darius. Now the Fillmore site is showing the 23rd and the 24th so I guess those are really the dates. While of course seeing the Pogues is all that matters, I hope no one is put out by that.

We (Johnny and I) just found this out today. (I found out from this site actually, all hail the medusa fora).

All Hail.

Are you the person from the Filthy Thieving Bastards that contacted me after I posted photos of them opening on October 9, 2006 at the Fillmore?

Will you let me know if you have any luck with that? We know a whole lot of people that would like to trade their tickets. I didn't think it was possible to do that, but. We were hoping the guy playing the 22nd would switch with FTB, but I doubt that's possible either.

Thanks.

Craigslist is probably the best bet, so that's what I'm going to try. I'll let you know too.

Hi Guns, I hope you see this! I just got an email from Darius saying that the dates are going to remain the 22nd and the 23rd.

I always forget to log in. That's me above.
