Will this affect your plans for Christmas 2007 in the UK?

Whatever they might be of course

No, "Fairytale Of New York" will continue its quest to be heard by everyone on the planet, Santa will once again slip that drunk driving charge and It's A Wonderful Life will continue to attract viewers mistakenly drawn by a false memory that it is a warmhearted and humane picket fence picture and not at all a nihilistic, existentialist "French" movie in disguise. And now that I realise it's not after all three hours long [that's the other one I've never seen, the one with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh], I may finally get to watch The Wizard Of Oz all the way through.

Thanks for clearing that up Phillip 8)

See you in Manchester in December then

Absolutely not. Being on tour is doing 500 shows a year while still finding time to record a cracking new album, give Oscar-winning film performances and submit to a thousand variations on the "Are you really a bunch of indolent drunks?" question for the ladies and gentlemen of The Press.

Sounds like you miss the -80´s

I had little doubt this would happen. Now which city or cities to visit is the question.

I went fishing for Walleyes on the Missouri River today and got skunked for the first time in 3 years. This Great Great News sure makes the day a winner.

Thank you Philip.

So I've got 4 months to either get my job to send me on an assignment to the West Coast, or I've got to find a friend in California. No problem!

When you're from Boston, Vegas 'round Halloween sounds pretty good - assuming, of course, the wife allows me out...and the twins remain healthy...and the promotion at work holds up...and and and.

If it's not to be, I wish y'all the best on the West Coast...anytime the Pogues announce more shows gives us fans hope that we may yet see them again.

That is the best news I've heard in a month of Sundays!

And another chance to meet more Medusans (come on up here Frances! Derelict81, start making those plans!)? Outstanding!

Well that's exciting, no blown transmissions to keep us this time, we could bike that one. Any Vancouverites down for a rainy season drunken bike ride? I've got a dutch cargo bike, we could put a keg in.

(Before anyone takes me up on this, i can guarantee my partner will not go for this, and as she will be heading to the show with me, it's not likely to happen).

To Anaheim? It's possible. Los Angeles, not so much. I'd choose S.F. or Las Vegas over The City of Angels.

Last year I was acting responsible and only saw one Vegas show, I'm so over that facade now.

See ya.
