There are no confirmation on the Official site yet but here are the site, not so updated on the english version. But if you are interested in the bands playing click at "Klara Artister" and you´ll get the announced artist playing. Sounds like a gret line up so far, but it can be MAGIC with the Pogues. Capacity ca 10 000 tickets.

The Articel posted abowe is realy promising and it´s the biggest newspaper in the west of Sweden and are not known to print Gossip (it´s not a Tabloid). 8)

Just hoping that the source is relayable  :D

Cheers

I note Philip is conspicuously silent on this subject... which could of course just be a coincidence.

Oops, I'd actually read that as well!!

I was only having a bit of fun anyway really. I think the Sweden rumour is probably just that, nothing more.

The girl cried out a few times and the old man slept with his mouth wide open and his bad teeth showing.

Today in Swedens biggest newspaper (read tabloid) they are talking about the rumour that pogues will play way out west. They also interview one of the guys working for the festival and he says that they are not denying any of the rumours.

Any excuse to visit Sweden is fine for me, but even better would be the Pogues visiting Finland.
Sadly festival rumours are only rumours.

The Pogues in Finland- I'd love that! My favourite band in my favourite country. The 2nd week of August would do nicely as I'll be there on holiday!

As You've ovbiously been to Finland, you know that almost each and every finn is secretly pleased that you like our country.

But we'll be damned if we tell you that.

Well, Michael Palin already told us how nice that country is. :D

I´ve only been to Finland for one day, but I´m likely to return some other day. And if it´s only for attending a finnish karaoke show on board of the ferry again...

Do not threaten our dear Johan, I´m pretty sure he doesn´t deserve this. :D

But I guess if the occasion arises I will be there, too. The last time I was in Gothenburg is nearly two years ago now, and it´s a very nice city.

Huomenta.
I have found that a lot! I've been to Finland a few times now and love the place. Finns certainly know how to enjoy life. I will be visiting Helsinki and Tampere this time.
