I have heard a rumour that The Pogues will play at the Way Out West Festival in Gothenburg this summer.
Is that something you can confirm Mr. Chevron?

It's an unofficial Morrissey site, and it's only quoting a forum post (hence the nonsensical English) so I wouldn't get too excited if I were you.
What's really happening is that the band are doing a one-off gig at the Warrington branch of Ikea, but before you know it, someone's leaked it to the press, it's all got distorted, and now they're supposed to be doing Swedish festivals.

In the biggest newspapers in Gothenburg they wrote about this yesterday.

Basically they are saying that regarding to their sources Pogues, flaming lips, morrissey and Nine inch nails will play the way out west festival. And also that the pogues rumour has been circulating since Januaru
