I also would like to echo the thanks from the other fans. I can only imagine the effort it took to keep this thing together this year. Between Shane in the now legendary wheelchair and the weather the day of the show in Philly it must have been alot. Thanks for not packing it in when the going got rough. That show in Philly was fantastic. The band sounded great!! I dare say the wheelchair might do well as a permanant addition. We all knew that these recent short tours have been a gift to the fans, but this year was a true display of loyalty that will never be forgotten. Thanks again and we hope to see you back in the states soon!!

I want to hear more about that bus ride!! I was telling my family about your plans, as we were driving through the snow and ice to the show. How much did they charge you for parking??

The bus ride down was Great. All met at the pub for pints and then coolers full of beer for the ride. We had one guy who had seen the post on here and came along with us. Talked about past pogues shows with him for a while. The ride home was a drunken singalong. Mostly sea shanty's we've been learning lately as a few of us play together on occasion. Too much whiskey before and during "fiesta" to remember much more.The bus driver parked a few blocks away and we called her when the show was over and she came and got us. Couldn't have asked for a better night.[/quote]
