Phila Set Start times / Opener

Anyone know/ guess the pogues start time at the elec factory?

Bands tend to start late at this venue, and finish past midnite - 1am

Thanks for timing post, i'm new to forum.

However, why 11pm curfew? Does the band need to be in bed by midnite?

There is no such rule for that venue, or at least it is never honored.

The time on the tickets for Philly tonight say 8:30.

The times that are posted here are saying 6:30.

Does anyone know ? I can't get through on the various phone numbers.

Sounds like a good piece of information to know.

My daily call sheet for today - about as close to intended reality as one can get - tells me I'm on stage at 9.30

The curfew is city-imposed.

Something to do with a noise ordinance, I believe.

curfew non existent

FOr anyone that has been to the Elec Factory for shows, performers ALWAYS run late there.

Meaning every single show I have been to there have Ended past 12 midnite.

I will believe the man whose time says 9:40pm, and give them the extra 20 minutes to wet their whistle with the drink of choice

Im be the bartender chugging a beer before the show...

Philly gig

Post Fri Mar 16, 2007 9:05 pm

Philip,

Thanks for the info as to anticipated gig start time tonight - which is especially helpful given today's weather.

I've been looking forward to this show for donkey's years - especially since we were in Scotland this time last year and missed the US whole tour.

Haven't seen a Pogues show since the "Pogue Mahone" tour back in the early 90s, so I'm geared up!
