DzM, I hope you're not just trying to cheer me up. I've been comforted all day with the thought that I'd get to see the Pogues at least once before the year is out. Oh, dear, oh, dear...

He did? I must've missed that. Thanks boss. Venerable institution would be a good thing. :D

I turned to say hi to Spider and by the time I realized that wasn't going to happen, you were gone from the spot where you were chatting with Jem. (that sounds so cool) I figured maybe your daughter had enough, and it was time to leave, so I didn't think anything of not getting a proper goodbye. Hope all worked out the rest of the night. Oh to be 19 and drinking Long Island ice tea all night long. And I was very glad to meet you as well. :D

Yeah I remember reading that too.

But then no tour doesn't mean they can't play just one show in Dublin only!

Refund for Cancelled 3/14 Show

Post Tue Mar 27, 2007 5:47 pm

Great difficulty in obtaining refund from Ticketmaster for cancelled 3/14/07 Roseland show. Initially, I was told by a Ticketmaster representative on
3/15/07 that my refund will be processed automatically.
On Friday 3/23/07, I contacted Ticketmaster to check the staus of my refund and was told that the event was closed and no refund would be issued because the event was not cancelled but rescheduled to the 15th.
I read the cancellation notice given out that night at Roseland and was told that they would try to get me a refund but no guarantees (something about a ticketmaster loss). It was only after I mentioned that this was unaccepatable and that I would be contacting the Attorney General of New York, after that I was told (after checking with a supervisor) that my refund would be processed and the money was back in my account yesterday.
Hopefully, all got their money back and if not, fight Ticketmaster on this.
