I'm not starting the four hour trip until I know for sure!

We do not expect to be in Philly until about 5 pm. We're driving, not landing. Me, I'm about to order lunch.

I hope it's a nice lunch

I hope you're planning to drive very carefully - the roads are horrible. Sleet, freezing rain, wet snow, hail - you name it, we've got it going on. What a mess!

I'm absolutely certain that if the weather causes a cancellation that there were be a fresh round of ranting about how it's Shane's fault.

"That bastard! His drinking caused the sleet! And all of you just encourage this kind of thing! And I hired a babysitter! And I've lost six month's worth of top-ramen money! And it's all Shane's fault that the hail broke the wind-screen on my car! Doesn't he know how much that'll cost me to fix?"
“I know all those people that were in the film [...] But that’s when they were young and strong and full of life, you know?”

Dz, that was very funny.

I would have laughed out loud, but the combination of the incredibly bad scary weather plus one very sick unhappy husband seems to be adding up to me missing tonight's show.

Personally, I think that's a reason to cancel -"'what, Sheva won't be in the audience tonight? Hell, we're not going then! Let's order in some Thai!"

A curse upon you Mother Nature.

So you are saying that Shane caused all this weather after taking your husband out and leaving him today with the mother of all hangovers so now you can't go to the show? well, at least you'll have a story to tell.

A curse upon you Mother Nature.

Maybe Terry Woods can redo Young Ned tonight in your honor, subbing
Mother Nature for Oliver Cromwell-

A curse upon you Mother Nature
You who snowed on concert night
I hope you're rotting down in hell
For the horrors that you sent
To our misfortunate fans
Whom you robbed of their flights
"To hell or Philly" may you burn in hell tonight

Ah, it's just a tiny storm. Very similar to weather that we traveled through to get to The Ramones show at The Electruc Factory in 1996. It was well worth it then and in my opinion it's more worth it to see The Pogues again. Last year in Atlantic City was phenomenal.

Have a blast tonight you lucky bastards.
Did the old songs taunt or cheer you, and did they still make you cry?
