The Irish Rover

Post Wed Mar 14, 2007 4:14 pm

Last year at the March 19 show in manhatten, Shane was singing way too slow for the Irish Rover and the band had to stop and restart...

Shane looks back and says, "what?"

How's the old rover sounding this year?

we're going to the roseland tomoroow night.

It sounds just fine.
Did the old songs taunt or cheer you, and did they still make you cry?

hey rambler,

the irsh rover is like this song about a boat or something that sinks in the ocean with all this porter on board and this deep sea diving team goes down looking for the lost beer, but the crew get sthe chiken pocks or something and the dog rescues the hogs.

See, I thought the loss of 7 million barrels of porter is much sadder than one dog drowning.
